Job summary

Saisystems Health, Pune-based product organization, reports to Manager, Product Operations, is seeking a Data & Interoperability Specialist. You’ll manage specifications, documentation, and testing for data services and integration products, including HL7/FHIR interfaces and API docs.

You will collaborate with engineering, monitor data quality, and contribute to AI-ready data strategies while ensuring compliance with interoperability standards.

Qualifications

• 5+ years overall with 1–3 years in product management or data integration.
• Experience with HL7, CCDA, FHIR, EDI-X12 interfaces.
• Familiar with healthcare integration engines (Mirth/Rhapsody/Cloverleaf/IRIS/Bridgegate Vorro).
• Strong API documentation and data schema reading skills.
• Proficient in Jira, Confluence, and Agile methodologies.
• Solid SQL and database skills; excellent written communication.

Responsibilities

• Support the Principal PM for data and interoperability in managing specs, testing and documentation.
• Write detailed technical specifications, API docs, and data flow diagrams for integration features.
• Conduct validation testing for FHIR APIs, HL7 interfaces, and data exchange workflows.
• Assist data preparation and organization for AI initiatives across the portfolio.
• Monitor data quality metrics and integration health dashboards; escalate issues as needed.
• Coordinate with engineering on integration testing, onboarding, and data migration.
• Maintain documentation for interoperability standards, certification requirements, and partner integrations.
• Analyze usage data for data services and APIs to identify adoption patterns and improvements.
• Build Proof of Concept with integration engines for developing APIs in healthcare data exchange.

Location: India (Pune)

Shift : EST Shift timing ( 05.30pm IST to 02.30 am IST )

What You’ll Do

• Support the Principal PM for Data & Interoperability in managing specifications, testing, and documentation for data services and integration products.
• Write detailed technical specifications, API documentation, and data flow diagrams for integration features.
• Conduct validation testing for FHIR APIs, HL7 interfaces, and data exchange workflows.
• Support data preparation and organization efforts that enable AI initiatives across the product portfolio — including data cataloging, quality auditing, and ensuring datasets are structured and accessible for machine learning workloads.
• Monitor data quality metrics and integration health dashboards, escalating issues proactively.
• Coordinate with engineering teams on integration testing, partner onboarding, and data migration activities.
• Maintain documentation for interoperability standards compliance, certification requirements, and partner integrations.
• Analyze usage data for data services and APIs to identify adoption patterns and improvement areas.
• Build Proof of Concept with help of Integration engines for developing API as part of healthcare data exchange.

What You Bring

• Overall years of experience 5+ with (1 to 3 years of experience in product management), technical writing, business analysis, or a data/integration-focused role.
• Hands-on experience with healthcare data standards (HL7, CCDA, FHIR, EDI -X12 (Eligibility and Claims management) or API-based integrations.
• Experience with one of the healthcare integration engines like Mirth/Rhapsody/Cloverleaf/IRIS/Bridgegate Vorro
• Strong technical aptitude and comfort reading API documentation and data schemas.
• Interest in AI/ML concepts and how well-organized data powers intelligent product features.
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, and Agile methodologies &
• Strong experience and SQL and Database.
• Excellent written skills and communication skills, particularly for technical documentation.
