Job summary

First December Films is seeking a freelance Production Coordinator to keep the project moving daily. You will manage timelines, task lists, feedback cycles, and on-set paperwork, ensuring everything is logged and up-to-date on a live production.

Based in Mumbai, you will work closely with the Producer, starting immediately on a live project. The ideal candidate can handle 0–2 years of experience and is eager to build our production systems from the ground up.

• Log every round of feedback the day it comes in.
• Maintain a current schedule and one live task list with owners and due dates.

Responsibilities

• Keep the schedule current every day and flag at-risk dates.
• Maintain a single live list of open items, owners, and due dates.
• Log feedback rounds as soon as they arrive and track changes to sign-off.
• Manage agreements, purchase orders, invoices, releases, and call sheets on time.
• End each day with a concise status update.

• Projects slip in the small gaps: a revision nobody logged, a date nobody confirmed, a form that came in late


• You close those gaps every day, on a live project

WHAT YOU'LL OWN

The timeline

• Keep the schedule current, every day


• Flag any date at risk the day you see it

The task list

• One live list: what's open, who owns it, and when it's due


• Follow up until each item is done

Feedback and revisions

• Log every round of feedback the day it comes in


• Track each change until it's signed off

The paperwork

• Agreements, purchase orders, invoices, releases and call sheets, in on time

The daily update

• End every day with a short status: done, doing it by [date], or stuck with your suggestion
