Job summary

Mott MacDonald is seeking an experienced Civil/Structural engineer for design of industrial structures in the water sector. The role focuses on analysis and design of water treatment and effluent facilities, including pile foundations and machine foundations.

You will work with piping and mechanical teams to deliver robust structural solutions and tender documentation for packages and BOQ. Flexible working options discussed at interview stage.

Qualifications

• BE in Civil or Structural engineering.
• 12+ years of design experience in Water/Waste Water projects.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyse and design industrial structures (water/wastewater).
• Prepare design drawings for WTP/ETP buildings with pile foundations.
• Perform static and dynamic analysis of machine foundations and structures.
• Coordinate with piping/mechanical disciplines and design pipe racks and structures.
• Design and detailing of RCC/steel industrial structures; FE analysis of foundations.

Job Description :

Analysis & design of various industrial structures (Preferably Water and Waste water treatment).

Analysis and design of Liquid Retaining Structures using STAAD or Robots

Preparation of design and drawings for all WTP / ETP buildings with pile foundations.

Static & Dynamic analysis of Machine Foundations & Structures

Checking of Reinforcement drawings alongwith Bar bending schedule drawings and MTO

Co-ordinating with piping/Mechanical discipline and designing pipe racks, structures design.

Design & detailing of RCC/STEEL industrial structures, finite element analysis of foundations, and use of software like STAADPRO or Robots

Participating in preparing tender documents for various packages & BOQ

Candidate Specification :

We are looking for candidates with BE in Civil or Structural engineering with 12+ years of design experience in Water/ waste water projects along with following skills
