Nagarro in Bengaluru is seeking an Associate Principal Engineer to design and manage scalable cloud infrastructure, DevOps pipelines, and containerized environments. The role requires hands-on cloud and virtualization expertise, IaC with Terraform, and strong Linux/networking skills.

The candidate will lead CI/CD initiatives, oversee VMware-based infra, and drive automation across large-scale development environments in an Agile setting.

Formación

• 9–12 years of experience in large-scale infrastructure engineering.
• Hands-on experience across public and private cloud environments.
• Proficient in IaC using Terraform and automation.
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD and end-to-end pipeline automation.
• Deep experience with Kubernetes and containerization (Docker, Helm).
• Linux administration and network design/troubleshooting.

Responsabilidades

• Design, implement and manage scalable infrastructure across Public and Private Cloud environments.
• Manage and automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform/IaC.
• Design, implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines and drive end-to-end pipeline automation.
• Manage Kubernetes clusters and containerized environments, including Docker and Helm-based deployments.
• Perform Linux administration, troubleshooting and system maintenance.
• Work on VMware-based infrastructure, virtualization and related operational activities.
• Design and maintain network connectivity, automation and infrastructure integrations.
• Implement observability, monitoring and alerting to ensure availability, performance and reliability.
• Identify opportunities to leverage AI and automation for infrastructure operations and engineering processes.
• Support large-scale development environments, ensuring stability, scalability and performance.
• Collaborate with development, infrastructure, security and other stakeholders to resolve technical issues and dependencies.
• Identify infrastructure risks, troubleshoot complex technical problems and implement sustainable solutions.
• Follow Agile ways of working and actively participate in sprint planning, retrospectives and other Agile ceremonies.
• Establish and promote best practices around automation, cloud infrastructure, CI/CD and platform engineering.
• Continuously evaluate and implement improvements to infrastructure reliability, scalability and operational efficiency.

REQUIREMENTS

• Strong experience in Cloud Infrastructure and Automation across Public & Private Cloud environments.
• Hands-on experience with VMware and virtualization technologies.
• Strong knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.
• Experience in CI/CD, E2E pipeline automation and management.
• Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes and Containerization, including Docker and Helm.
• Good understanding of Linux Administration and troubleshooting.
• Experience in Network design, automation, connectivity and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of AI Automation and automation-driven infrastructure management.
• Good understanding of Active Directory (AD) fundamentals.
• Experience with Edge Technologies and distributed infrastructure environments.
• Strong understanding of Observability and Monitoring solutions.
• Experience managing and supporting large-scale development/infrastructure environments.
• Strong understanding of Agile ways of working.
• Ability to automate repetitive infrastructure and operational tasks and improve platform reliability.
