Job summary

Accenture is seeking a Principal Engineer to anchor the ALV product technically, set development workflows, drive architecture decisions, and raise engineering standards across teams. You will be deeply hands-on in code, guiding multiple squads and shaping the platform's evolution.

You will lead architecture decisions, mentor engineers, and champion AI coding tools while ensuring robust testing and CI practices across Bangalore and Gurgaon offices.

Qualifications

• Must have skills include backend stacks (.NET / Golang / Java / Node.js) with Docker, Kubernetes, AWS and relational databases.
• Hands-on experience with unit and integration testing and testing standards.
• Minimum 1 year of experience using AI coding tools (Cursor / Claude) and championing these tools.
• Experience leading/mentoring engineering teams (≥3) in a technical capacity.

Professional & Technical Skills

Must To Have Skills

• Deep proficiency in one or more backend stacks (.NET / Golang / Java / Node.js), with the ability to work across them.
• Strong hands‑on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, and relational databases (PostgreSQL / MySQL).
• First‑hand experience writing unit and integration tests and establishing testing standards.
• Minimum 1 year of experience using AI coding tools (Cursor / Claude); evidence of championing these tools at their org/unit.
• Experience leading/mentoring engineering teams (minimum team size of 3) in a technical capacity.
• Comfortable working in a MacBook (macOS) professional environment.
• Good to have: working knowledge of frontend development (React / Angular / HTML).
