Responsibilities

• Demand Forecasting: Utilize historical sales data, market trends, and other factors to develop accurate demand forecasts.
• Data Analysis: Analyze large datasets to identify patterns, trends, and anomalies using Excel, SQL, Python, and data science modelling.
• Collaboration: Work with sales, marketing, finance, and supply chain to gather insights and align on forecast assumptions.
• Forecast Accuracy Improvement: Continuously evaluate and refine forecasting models to improve accuracy and reduce forecast error.
• Demand Planning Process: Drive the demand planning process from demand review meetings to consensus forecasting.
• Performance Metrics: Track KPIs like forecast accuracy and service levels; provide insights for improvement.
• Market Analysis: Monitor market trends and macro factors to anticipate changes in demand.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process optimization, automation, and system enhancements.

You will utilize data analysis, statistical techniques, and market insights to develop accurate demand forecasts and drive strategic decision-making within the organization.

Your efforts will contribute directly to the company's success by ensuring efficient supply chain operations and meeting customer demand effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Demand Forecasting: Utilize historical sales data, market trends, and other relevant factors to develop accurate demand forecasts.
• Data Analysis: Analyze large datasets to identify patterns, trends, and anomalies that impact demand, utilizing tools such as Excel, SQL, Python, and Data Science modelling.
• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams—including sales, marketing, finance, and supply chain—to gather insights, align on forecast assumptions, and communicate demand expectations.
• Forecast Accuracy Improvement: Continuously evaluate and refine forecasting models and methodologies to improve forecast accuracy and reduce forecast error.
• Demand Planning Process: Drive the demand planning process from demand review meetings to consensus forecasting, ensuring alignment across all stakeholders and departments.
• Performance Metrics: Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as forecast accuracy and service levels, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
• Market Analysis: Monitor market trends, the competitive landscape, and macroeconomic factors to anticipate changes in demand patterns and adjust forecasts accordingly.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process optimization, automation, and system enhancements to streamline demand planning processes and improve efficiency.
