Job summary

Veolia Environnement is seeking an Electrical Engineer to develop PLC design documents, control schematics, panel layout diagrams, and BOMs for water treatment projects. You will design control system architecture for PLC and HMI, select hardware, prepare GA drawings and BOMs per standards, and contribute to SAP BOM processes.

Travel to field sites worldwide may be required. Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's or Diploma in Electrical Engineering with 5–8 years' experience in water treatment

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
• 5-7 years' experience (BE) or 6-8 years (Diploma) in electrical/controls in water treatment plants.
• Experience with SAP BOM is advantageous.
• Experience with AutoCAD Electrical / E-Plan is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop PLC design documents: electrical/control schematics, panel layout diagrams, BOMs.
• Create Power Schematics, Control Schematics, GA drawing, Panel Layout and Loop Diagrams.
• Develop control system architecture for PLC and HMI systems and select hardware.

Job Description

Role Summary

The candidate will demonstrate technical expertise in developing PLC-design documents for system architecture Electrical/Control Schematics, Panel Layout Diagrams, and BOM.

Perform design and develop documents like Power Schematics, Control Schematics, Industrial control /power Panel Design, GA drawing, Panel Layout and Loop Diagrams

Develop control system architecture for PLC and HMI systems and select appropriate hardware. Develop panel layouts GA and BOM as per standards.

Developing Bill of Material and process through SAP is an advantage.

Candidate must have worked on Allen Bradley, Siemens, Schneider PLC

Key Skills required

Expertise in specifying and applying electrical and controls equipment in water treatment process plants.

Expertise with Autocad/AutoCAD Electrical/E-Plan

Expertise with Low Voltage System design in North America, including UL508A, NFPA 70, UL698A, UL913, CSA 22.2, NFPA 497, NFPA 820 and ANSI schematics.

Excellent quantitative, analytical, problem solving, influencing, and facilitation skills.

Ability to make good business decisions, to speak effectively before groups, including customers, and others as well as the ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or scheduled form.

Self-motivated, ability to drive projects to completion with minimal oversight, while demonstrating significant problem-solving ability with an unfailing dedication to deadlines and commitments.

Computer proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, AutoCAD Electrical, SAP.

Ability to travel for extended periods of time for bubble assignments, field support and meetings across the globe

Qualifications

Educational Qualification: Bachelor's Degree / Diploma in Electrical Engineering

Experience Required (Min – Max year)

5-7 years' experience (B.E.) or 6-8 years' experience (Diploma) specifying and applying electrical/controls equipment in water treatment process plants.
