Job summary

Lokal in Bengaluru is seeking an Associate - Onboarding & Engagement (Tamil) to build and manage the Wellness Buddy ecosystem on Eaze. You will own the end-to-end onboarding journey from sourcing and screening to training and ongoing engagement.

You will work with cross-functional teams to maintain a high-quality community, ensure smooth day-to-day platform operations and deliver an exceptional experience for both Buddies and users.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• 2+ years in community operations, operations, or supply chain roles with a focus on audio/video content or social platforms.
• Fluent in Tamil and English (read, write & speak).
• Strong understanding of community dynamics in 1:1 calling environments.
• Proficiency in analytics tools and community platforms.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Acquire Wellness Buddies and guide them through the application process.
• Conduct initial screening interviews to assess communication, empathy, and maturity.
• Maintain a healthy pipeline of qualified Wellness Buddies.
• Support the execution of training programs for Wellness Buddies.
• Facilitate smooth onboarding by aligning candidates with community guidelines.
• Assist in improving training and onboarding processes with feedback.
• Identify and onboard Wellness Buddies for 1:1 audio/video sessions.
• Ensure an adequate supply of active Wellness Buddies to meet demand.
• Track supply metrics and highlight gaps proactively.
• Assist in day-to-day operations of 1:1 sessions.
• Monitor Buddy performance and provide feedback.
• Support in resolving operational issues to ensure a seamless user experience.
• Contribute to initiatives to expand the Buddy base across languages and markets.
• Help improve user engagement and overall platform experience.

Role Overview

As an Associate - Onboarding & Engagement, you will play a key role in building and managing Eaze's Wellness Buddy ecosystem. You will be responsible for the end-to-end onboarding journey—from sourcing and screening potential Wellness Buddies to facilitating training, ensuring operational readiness, and driving ongoing engagement. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will help maintain a high-quality, active community of Wellness Buddies while ensuring seamless day-to-day platform operations and an exceptional experience for both Wellness Buddies and users. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, people-centric environment and is passionate about community building, operations, and creating meaningful user experiences.

Key Responsibilities

Wellness Buddy Acquisition & Candidate Experience

• Manage inbound leads and guide potential Wellness Buddies through the application process

• Assist in managing day-to-day operations of 1:1 audio/video sessions

Community Growth & Support

• Contribute to initiatives aimed at expanding the Wellness Buddy base across languages and markets
• Support efforts to improve user engagement and overall platform experience
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth execution of growth initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Community Management, Business Administration, or a related field
• 2+ years of experience in community management, operations, or supply chain roles, with a focus on audio/video content or social platforms
• Must be fluent in Tamil & English (Read, Write & Speak)
• Strong understanding of community dynamics in 1:1 calling environments, including experience managing hosts and content contributors
• Proficiency in analytics tools, community management platforms, and audio/video calling technologies
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
