Job summary

Lokal is seeking an Associate Onboarding & Engagement in Bengaluru to build and manage its Wellness Buddy ecosystem. You will oversee end-to-end onboarding, training, and ongoing engagement, coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure a high-quality community and smooth platform operations for both buddies and users.

The role requires 2+ years in community management or operations, fluency in Tamil and English, and comfort with analytics tools and audio/video platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Community Management, Business Administration, or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in community management, operations, or supply chain roles with focus on audio/video content or social platforms.
• Fluent in Tamil and English (read, write, speak).
• Strong understanding of community dynamics in 1:1 calling environments and host/content contributor management.
• Proficient with analytics tools, community platforms, and audio/video calling technologies.

Responsibilities

• Manage inbound leads and guide potential Wellness Buddies through the application process.
• Schedule and conduct initial screening interviews to assess communication, empathy, and emotional maturity.
• Maintain a healthy pipeline of qualified Wellness Buddies aligned with platform requirements.
• Support training programs for Wellness Buddies and smooth onboarding with guidelines.
• Identify and onboard Wellness Buddies for 1:1 audio/video sessions and ensure adequate supply.
• Monitor Buddy performance and help resolve operational issues for a seamless user experience.
• Contribute to initiatives expanding the Wellness Buddy base across languages and markets.

Role Overview :

As an Associate Onboarding & Engagement, you will play a key role in building and managing Eaze's Wellness Buddy ecosystem. You will be responsible for the end-to-end onboarding journeyfrom sourcing and screening potential Wellness Buddies to facilitating training, ensuring operational readiness, and driving ongoing engagement. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will help maintain a high-quality, active community of Wellness Buddies while ensuring seamless day-to-day platform operations and an exceptional experience for both Wellness Budies and users. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, people-centric environment and is passionate about community building, operations, and creating meaningful user experiences.

Key Responsibilities :

Wellness buddy Acquisition & Candidate Experience

• Manage inbound leads and guide potential Wellness Buddies through the application process.
• Schedule and conduct initial screening interviews to assess communication, empathy, and emotional maturity.
• Maintain a healthy pipeline of qualified Wellness Buddies aligned with platform requirements.

Training & Onboarding

• Support the execution of training programs for Wellness Buddies.
• Facilitate smooth onboarding by aligning candidates with community guidelines and platform expectations.
• Assist in improving training and onboarding processes based on feedback and performance data.

Talent Supply Management

• Identify and onboard Wellness Buddies for 1:1 audio/video sessions.
• Ensure an adequate supply of active Wellness Buddies to meet user demand and peak hours.
• Track basic supply metrics and highlight gaps proactively.

Operations & Performance Support

• Assist in managing day-to-day operations of 1:1 audio/video sessions.
• Monitor Wellness Buddy performance and share feedback for improvement.
• Support in resolving operational issues to ensure a seamless user experience.

Community Growth & Support

• Contribute to initiatives aimed at expanding the Wellness Buddy base across languages and markets.
• Support efforts to improve user engagement and overall platform experience.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth execution of growth initiatives.

Requirements :

• Bachelors degree in Operations Management, Community Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in community management, operations, or supply chain roles, with a focus on audio/video content or social platforms.
• Must be fluent in Tamil & English (Read, Write & Speak).
• Strong understanding of community dynamics in 1:1 calling environments, including experience managing hosts and content contributors.
