Job summary

Regeneron India Private Limited in Hyderabad is seeking an Associate Manager, US Payroll Service Delivery to ensure accurate, timely US payroll operations and compliance. You will partner with HR, Finance, Tax, and vendors, support audits, and drive payroll improvements while mentoring analysts.

The role requires 6–8+ years in payroll with knowledge of Workday/OTL/ADP or similar platforms, and a willingness to work in a hybrid setup aligned to US business hours.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, HR, Business Administration or related field.
  • 6–8+ years of payroll experience, including US and/or multi-country payroll operations.
  • Supervisory or team lead experience in payroll service delivery.
  • Strong knowledge of payroll regulations, tax compliance, and controls.

We are seeking an Associate Manager, US Payroll Service Delivery to join our Global Capability Center (GCC). In this role, you will help ensure the accurate, timely, and compliant delivery of payroll services, with main responsibility for supporting United States payroll operations while contributing to global payroll initiatives. You will partner closely with HR, Finance, Tax, Payroll vendors, and business partners to drive payroll accuracy, regulatory compliance, operational excellence, and continuous improvement. When & Where: Hyderabad (Hybrid)
  • Support end-to-end US payroll operations, ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant payroll processing for employees across the organization.
  • Perform payroll data validation, reconciliations, audit checks, approval workflows, and issue resolution activities to maintain payroll accuracy and compliance.
  • Partner with HR, Finance, Tax, and payroll vendors to resolve payroll inquiries, address operational challenges, and deliver an exceptional employee experience.
  • Support internal and external audits by preparing documentation, responding to inquiries, and ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and internal controls.
  • Provide guidance and operational support to payroll analysts, helping foster a culture of accountability, accuracy, customer service, and continuous improvement.
  • Contribute to month-end, quarter-end, and year-end activities, including reconciliations, reporting, payroll tax compliance, and documentation requirements.
  • Support payroll-related system testing, enhancements, and projects involving Workday, Oracle Time & Labor (OTL), payroll systems, and process improvements.
  • Assist in identifying process improvement opportunities, driving payroll standardization, operational efficiency, and service delivery excellence across payroll operations.
  • Maintain the highest standards of confidentiality, data integrity, compliance, and control adherence across all payroll activities.
  • Provide leadership support during periods of business transition, peak demand, or management coverage requirements to ensure uninterrupted payroll operations.
Qualifications and Experience
  • This role requires Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related subject area; advanced degree or equivalent experience preferred.
  • 6-8+ years of payroll experience, including exposure to United States and/or multi-country payroll operations.
  • Supervisory, team lead, or people leadership experience supporting payroll service delivery operations.
  • Solid understanding of payroll regulations, statutory requirements, payroll tax compliance, and payroll controls.
  • Hands‑on experience working with payroll vendors and HRIS/payroll platforms such as Workday, Oracle, ADP GlobalView, CloudPay, or similar solutions.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, reconciliations, and payroll data analysis.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze payroll data, identify root causes, resolve issues, and implement process improvements.
  • Experience supporting audits, controls, compliance reviews, and payroll governance activities within a shared services or global operations environment.
  • Strong communication, stakeholder management, and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across regions and time zones.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated ability to support teams through high-volume periods, operational transitions, and changing business requirements.
  • Professional certifications such as CPP, FPC, or equivalent payroll credentials preferred.
  • Experience supporting US payroll operations and payroll service delivery within a global organization preferred.
  • Ability to work a hybrid schedule and periodically align with US business hours to support payroll processing and collaborator needs.
