Job summary

PepsiCo Deutschland GmbH in Hyderabad seeks an experienced SAP BW/HANA developer to design, build and optimize data models and reports within the PepsiCo Global Template.

The role requires strong SAP BW on HANA knowledge, XS Classic/XS Advanced, SDI/SDA ETL, and solid SQL skills. You will collaborate with business and tech teams to deliver robust analytics solutions.

Qualifications

• 6-7 years of experience in SAP BW / HANA.
• Deep knowledge of eHANA, SQL, SAP BW.
• Familiarity with SAP ECC, S4, SDI, SLT.
• Strong communication across organization levels.
• Ability to adapt to changing technologies and timelines.
• Experience with Agile practices and CI/CD is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain SAP BW solutions (InfoProviders, DTPs, Queries).
• Develop SAP HANA XS Classic/XS Advanced models and procedures.
• ETL data flows using SAP BW Extractors, SDI, SDA.
• Support reporting solutions across SAP modules (SCM, Finance, Mfg).
• Collaborate with tech and business leads to verify designs.
• Own requirements gathering, delivery, testing, and training for reports.

Overview

• Collaboration: Work with functional teams, project managers, and business stakeholders to trslate business requirements into technical designs
• Documentation: Create technical and functional documentation. Update our documentation systems for technical users and business users.
• Support sustain teams: Provide ongoing support and leadership to our sustain team. This involves key monitoring of Early watch reports and ensure efficient operations
• Resource to be part of Dev Sec Ops team. Responsible for enhancements/new report requirements, own requirements gathering, design, delivery, testing and user training of reporting and analytics solutions within the scope of PepsiCo Global Template.
• Partner with Technical and Business value stream leads to verify solution designs and architectures
• Demonstrate ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization
• Ability to work flexible hours based on varying business requirements

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain SAP BW solutions including InfoProviders, Transformations, DTPs, Process Chains, Composite Providers, and BEx Queries. This requires solid understanding of SAP BW on HANA and how it integrates with HANA DB.
• Design and develop SAP HANA XS Classic models including Calculation Views, Table Functions and SQL Stored Procedures
• Design and develop SAP HANA XS Advanced models including Calculation Views, Table Functions, SQL Stored Procedures, Flowgraphs and Replication tasks
• Create and mange Extraction Transformation Loading (ETL) data flows using SAP BW Extractors, SAP Smart Data Integration (SDI) and Smart Data Access (SDA).
• Support data integration and reporting solutions based on the SAP modules related to Supply Chain, Financial reporting, Manufacturing, Operations, Master data.
• Strong knowledge of SQL for HANA development.
• Knowledge of python, yaml, node.js and javascript would be an advantage.
• Resource to be part of PGCS Analytics team. Responsible to analyse reporting demands raised by business and coordinate with business associates to have robust reporting solution.
• For the Enhancements/new report requirements, own requirements gathering, design, delivery, testing and user training of reporting and analytics solutions within the scope of PepsiCo Global Template.
• Partner with the Value Stream Leads to verify the solution before implementation and deploy – Consult / Execute

Qualifications

• Candidate should have 6-7 Y of experience
• Deep knowledge of eHANA, SQL, SAP BW
• Familiarity with adjacent enterprise platforms: SAP ECC, S4, SDI, SLT
• Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization
• Ability to work flexible hours based on varying business requirements
• Knowledge and experience in the following tools, disciplines and processes are nice to have: SAP Solman, HP-ALM, Sharepoint, ServiceNow etc.
• Ability to quickly adapt to changes in technologies, timelines and sequences
