Qualifications

7+ years in enterprise development, 9+ preferred
At least 4 years on D365 F&O X++ (4+ in D365 F&O X++)
Minimum 2 years as Technical Consultant on D365 F&O
At least 3 full lifecycle implementations, one as development lead
Advanced X++ fluency with CoC and performance tuning
Experience with OData, APIs, Azure Service Bus, Functions, Logic Apps
Proficiency in Azure DevOps, CI/CD, LCS, automated builds, release pipelines
Strong data integration and entity design for large-scale systems
Power Platform exposure (Power Apps, Power Automate, connectors)
Certifications: MB-500, MB-300; AI-102; AZ-204 preferred/in-progress

Responsibilities

Lead development stream on Dynamics 365 F&O engagements

Job description

Lead the development workstream on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Supply Chain Management engagements
Own X++ extensions, custom services, data entities, and complex integrations end-to-end
Design and build Copilot Studio plugins, Azure OpenAI components, and AI-powered F&O extensions
Own integration design and implementation across Dual-write, virtual entities, OData, custom services, Azure Service Bus, Event Grid, Azure Functions, and Logic Apps
Run code reviews and establish AI-generated code review discipline
Partner with Functional teams to translate functional designs into technical designs and identify technical implications
Drive Azure DevOps hygiene, including branching strategy, automated builds, release pipelines, LCS asset management, and test automation
Mentor Technical Consultants through paired development, code reviews, and structured development plans
Build and contribute to the practice’s technical IP library, including accelerators, extension templates, integration patterns, and AI build references
Lead technical due diligence for pursuit-stage discovery, including integration discovery, infrastructure sizing, and AI build effort estimation
Own performance, security, and code-quality remediation throughout the build phase
Lead cutover technical activities, including data migration runs, integration cutover, and post-cutover stabilization
Represent the practice through Microsoft community contributions, internal brown-bags, and potential external speaking opportunities
Establish X++ standards, code review discipline, integration patterns, Copilot Studio plugin libraries, and AI build playbooks for the emerging India practice

Requirements

Minimum 7 years in enterprise development; preference for 9+ years
At least 4 years on Microsoft Dynamics AX or D365 F&O X++; preference for 4+ years in D365 F&O (X++)
Minimum 2 years operating as a Technical Consultant on D365 F&O
At least 3 full lifecycle implementations, including one as development lead/workstream owner
Advanced X++ fluency, including extensions, Chain of Command (CoC), and performance tuning
Experience with integration architecture: OData, APIs, Azure Service Bus, Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Dual-write, and virtual entities
Proficiency in Azure services including App Service, Functions, Key Vault, and Entra ID
Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps, CI/CD, LCS, automated builds, release pipelines, and testing
Strong knowledge of data integration and entity design for large-scale systems
Experience with Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate, and connectors
Exposure to Microsoft Fabric, Synapse, and data lakehouse patterns
Strong focus on security, compliance, testing discipline, and code quality
Capability to build and manage AI solutions, including Copilot Studio plugins, Azure OpenAI, RAG, and AI Builder
At least one shipped engagement involving Copilot Studio, Azure OpenAI, or comparable AI integration strongly weighted during selection
Active GitHub portfolio strongly weighted; portfolio is also listed as a plus
Mandatory MB-500 and MB-300 certifications
AZ-204 preferred/in progress
AI-102 required within 6 months
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
Strong coaching, collaboration across geographies, and architectural understanding
