Job summary

ITC Limited in Bengaluru is seeking a qualified CMA (with CA Inter) to join the Audit & Systems function. You will assist in engagement with audit firms, conduct divisional audits, test internal controls and ensure statutory compliance.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years’ experience in accounting, finance and taxation, strong communication skills, and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Willingness to travel and relocate within India is required.

Qualifications

• Qualified CMA with CA Inter.
• 4+ years of audit/finance experience in manufacturing or services.
• Strong knowledge of Accounting, Finance & Taxation.
• Familiarity with legal & statutory compliances.

Responsibilities

• Assist in engagement of audit firms for transaction audits and inventories.
• Conduct divisional audits per audit plan including finalization and reporting.
• Test internal controls over financial reporting.
• Coordinate statutory and internal audits smoothly.
• Review SOPs and formulate new SOPs.
• Report on compliance with risk management systems.
• Provide periodic updates on audit points and compliance.
• Track legal cases and notices.
• Stay updated on regulatory and technological changes.
• Assist in attending ad hoc requirements.

Purpose of Job

To support in audit & review of systems and processes and verify compliance with the SOPs, guidelines and statutory requirements.

Key Responsibility Area

• Assist in engagement of audit firms for conduct of transaction audits, physical verification of inventories, etc.
• Conduct of Divisional audits as per audit plan including audit finalization, risk classification, report circulation and presentation of the audit reports.
• Testing of Internal financial controls over financial reporting.
• Effectively coordinate in smooth conduct of statutory and internal audits.
• Review of existing SOPs and formulation of new SOPs.
• Reporting on compliance with Risk management systems.
• Periodic report-backs on statutory compliance, audit points implementation status, etc.
• Tracking of legal cases and reporting of any show cause or other notices.
• To keep abreast with latest changes relating to his/her area of operations relating to statutory compliances and technological changes.
• To assist in attending to various ad hoc requirements.

Personal profiling

• Minimum 4 years’ experience
