Job summary

Adani Group is seeking a seasoned Package Incharge - O&M (HVAC, VAM, Chiller) to oversee HVAC operations, develop maintenance plans, manage resources and drive energy efficiency in an industrial setting in Mundra.

You will lead teams, ensure safety and compliance, collaborate with stakeholders, and optimize HVAC systems for reliable indoor environments and cost-efficiency. 8–10 years of HVAC ops experience is expected.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering required.
  • Certifications in HVAC, energy management or building automation advantageous.
  • Strong understanding of HVAC principles, equipment, and maintenance.

Job Purpose:

The Package Incharge - O&M (HVAC, VAM, Chiller) oversees HVAC operations, develops maintenance plans, manages resources, ensures safety and compliance, collaborates with stakeholders, and drives HVAC system optimization for optimal indoor environment and energy efficiency.

Responsibilities
Oversee Upstream and Downstream HVAC Operations:
  • Manage the performance of upstream systems (e.g., cooling towers, chillers) and downstream systems (e.g., air handlers, ductwork) to ensure efficient and reliable HVAC operations.
Oversee HVAC Operations
  • Manage HVAC systems, ensuring optimal temperature, humidity, and air quality. Handle daily operations, including troubleshooting and maintenance.
Develop Maintenance Plans
  • Create and implement preventive and corrective maintenance schedules. Use monitoring systems to predict and address equipment issues.
Manage Resources
  • Allocate manpower and materials effectively. Develop and oversee the HVAC maintenance budget to ensure cost-efficiency.
Safety And Compliance
  • Implement safety protocols and ensure compliance with safety, industry, and environmental regulations.
Collaborate With Stakeholders
  • Work with internal teams and external partners to integrate HVAC systems smoothly and resolve related challenges.
Drive HVAC System Optimization
  • Enhance HVAC efficiency, reduce energy use, and improve air quality through upgrades and energy-saving measures.
Team Development
  • Lead and mentor teams, fostering a respectful and safe work environment while promoting growth and success.

Qualifications
Educational Qualification:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field is essential. Additional certifications in HVAC systems, energy management, or building automation would be advantageous and a strong understanding of HVAC principles, equipment, and maintenance is crucial.
Work Experience (Range Of Years)
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in HVAC operations and maintenance within an industrial setting. Proven track record in managing HVAC systems, ensuring optimal performance, and implementing energy-saving measures and demonstrated ability to lead HVAC technicians and troubleshoot system issues.
