Job summary

PhonePe Limited is seeking a seasoned professional to manage end-to-end contract lifecycle processes, including intake, review, approvals, and renewals in a regulated fintech setting. You will oversee CLM operations, ensure data quality, and drive process improvements across Legal, Sales, Procurement and Finance teams.

The role requires 3-6 years in contract management or legal operations, with hands-on experience in CLM tools and a legal qualification preferred.

Qualifications

• 3-6 years of experience in Contract Management, Legal Operations, CLM or related roles.
• Experience in FinTech, Banking, Financial Services or another regulated industry preferred.
• Legal qualification (LL.B./LL.M.) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end contract lifecycle from intake, review and approvals to execution, repository management and renewals.
• Manage day-to-day operations on the CLM platform, including workflows, metadata, repository, reporting and data quality.
• Own and streamline contract execution processes, including e-signature, stamping and execution tracking.
• Coordinate with Legal, Sales, Procurement, Finance, Compliance, Risk, InfoSec and other business stakeholders.
• Ensure adherence to SLA/TAT, approval matrices, governance and regulatory requirements.
• Perform/oversee contract abstraction, metadata validation and quality checks, including AI-extracted contract data.
• Develop and improve SOPs, workflows, controls and automation to enhance efficiency.
• Support CLM implementation, migration, enhancements and vendor management.
• Prepare dashboards and reports on contract volumes, TAT, ageing, execution status and compliance.
• Lead/mentor team members and drive operational excellence.

• Hands-on experience with CLM tools such as SpotDraft, Volody, Icertis, Ironclad, DocuSign CLM, Sirion or similar.
• Strong understanding of contract lifecycle and execution processes.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail, process orientation and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Legal qualification (LL.B./LL.M.) is preferred.
