Job summary

Adani Power Ltd. in India seeks a seasoned commissioning engineer with 10–15 years of total experience, specializing in boilers and their auxiliaries for large power projects. BE-Mechanical with strong leadership and communication skills is required, including team handling capabilities.

The role focuses on planning, execution and safety compliance at site for 660 MW class units, with responsibilities spanning from scheduling to MIS verification. Strong presentation skills are essential.

Qualifications

• BE-Mechanical degree from a recognized institute/university.
• 10+ years of commissioning experience in boilers and auxiliaries.
• Experience with commissioning 660 MW capacity units at large power projects.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Experience leading erection engineers or teams.

Responsibilities

• Plan, execute and control boiler structure, boiler pressure parts, ESP and auxiliaries, boiler air and flue gas duct, SCR duct and reactor, coal piping, rotating equipment and coal bunkers.
• Coordinate commissioning schedule, resources and material management.
• Verify weekly/monthly MIS (materials, drawing, process, resources).
• Ensure site safety compliance; review JSA/HIRA and commissioning methodology; checklists before erection activities.
• Overall understanding of commissioning boiler structures, boiler pressure parts and auxiliaries.

• To verify weekly/monthly MIS (Materials, drawing, process, resources)
• To ensure safety compliance at site. Review of JSA/HIRA, Commissioning Methodology and check list for erection, Compliance check list before taking up erection activity.
• Overall idea of commissioning of Boiler Structure, Boiler pressure parts, ESP & its auxiliaries,

Essential Qualification: BE-Mechanical

Full time degree course in Mechanical from recognized Institute / University.

Must have more than 10+ years of experience of commissioning of Boiler and its auxiliaries in large Power Project having Units of 660 MW Capacity and more.
