Job summary

Adani Power Ltd. in Singrauli, MP, seeks a seasoned Commissioning Engineer to lead CHP package commissioning for large power projects.

You will manage a team of commissioning engineers and coordinate with EPC contractors to align with the project schedule. The role requires 15+ years total experience, a Diploma or BE in Mechanical, and strong safety, communication, and presentation skills to oversee safety compliance and interface management across departments.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of total experience in large power project commissioning.
• Proven ability to lead commissioning teams across multiple units.
• Sound knowledge of CHP systems (Wagon Tripler, Stacker/Reclaimer, Crusher House, Belt Conveying).

Responsibilities

• Monitor CHP packages commissioning schedule and rolling plan quarterly.
• Verify weekly/monthly MIS including materials, drawings, and resources.
• Ensure safety compliance; review JSA/HIRA and commissioning methodology.
• Coordinate progress, materials, drawings, and resources with PMCG/CEG & EPC contractor.
• Ensure strict safety adherence to quality systems.
• Coordinate interface issues within inter & intra departments.

Responsibilities

• Shall be responsible for the Monitoring of CHP Packages commissioning schedule and resource Rolling Plan quarterly basis in line with the relevant project commissioning schedule follow up, Commissioning Co-ordination, Check List, and Standard Operating Procedure.
• To verify weekly/monthly MIS (Materials, drawing, process, resources)
• To ensure safety compliance at site. Review of JSA/HIRA, Commissioning Methodology and check list for erection, Compliance check list before taking up commissioning activity.
• To coordinate (Progress, Material, drawing, Resources) with PMCG/CEG & EPC Contactor
• To ensure safety strict adherence to quality systems & Safety.
• To co-ordinates for interface issues within inter & intra department

Qualifications

Experience Total: 15+ Years

Essential Qualification: Diploma/BE-Mechanical

Must have sound knowledge of systems and practice of Large Power Project. Should have handled a Team of commissioning Engineers in Project. Must have exposure to commissioning of CHP (Wagon Tripler, Stacker/Reclaimer, Crusher House, Belt Conveying System) & in project having Units of more than 500/600 MW Capacity. Should have good communication and presentation skills.
