Job summary
GMR Group seeks a senior data & analytics leader to define the long-term data strategy and drive key initiatives. You will manage a high-performing team, set clear goals, and ensure analytics outputs align with stakeholder priorities.
You will oversee data extraction with SQL, Python, and R, and deliver dashboards via Tableau/Power BI/Looker to support executive decision-making. Strong communication and business acumen are essential.
Qualifications
- 9–15 years of data analytics/BI leadership experience.
- Experience handling data in excess of 1 million rows.
- Strong command of SQL, Python and/or R.
- Proven experience with Tableau/Power BI/Looker.

Define and lead the implementation of a long-term data strategy aligned with organizational goals. Prioritize data initiatives based on business impact, scalability, and innovation potential.
Manage and grow a high-performing data and analytics team, fostering a culture of ownership, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Set clear goals, conduct performance reviews, and support career development.
Oversee the use of analytical tools (SQL, Python, R) to extract insights that drive strategic decisions. Ensure analytical outputs are aligned with business priorities and stakeholder expectations.
Guide the development of dashboards and reports using Tableau, Power BI, or Looker to support executive decision-making. Ensure visualizations are impactful, accurate, and tailored to diverse audiences.
