Job summary

The role requires a technical degree (B.E./B.Tech./M.Tech. in CSE, ECE, or EEE) and at least 1 year of patent drafting experience, with knowledge of US, EP, and Indian patent laws.

Qualifications

• B.E./B.Tech./M.Tech. in CSE, ECE or EEE from a reputed institute.
• Exposure to patent drafting and preparation is preferred (US/EP/Indian laws).
• Registered Patent Agent certification is preferred.
• LL.B. (Hons.) is a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with excellent attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Draft US provisional and non-provisional patent applications for filing.
• Analyze invention disclosures and prepare patent claims, specifications, figures, and descriptions.
• Support senior team members in patent-related projects and daily activities.
• Ensure high-quality and timely delivery of patent drafting assignments.
• Perform additional patent prosecution and related administrative tasks as required.

Position Details

Role: Associate — Patent Preparation

Location: Gurgaon/ Bangalore

Shift Timing: 8:30 AM — 5:30 PM

Working Days: 5 Days a Week

Transportation: Two-way cab facility available for employees residing within the transport zone

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced professional with expertise in patent drafting and preparation to support our clients’ patent portfolios. The role primarily involves drafting patent applications, understanding invention disclosures, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure high-quality patent prosecution support.

The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work independently while effectively collaborating with global teams.

Eligibility & Requirements

• B.E./B. Tech./M. Tech. in:
• Computer Science Engineering (CSE)
• Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE)
• Electrical & Electronics Engineering (EEE)
• Minimum 1 years of experience in preparing patent applications.
• Strong understanding of US Patent Law.
• Knowledge of European (EP) and Indian Patent Laws will be an added advantage.
• Registered Patent Agent certification is preferred.ut
• LL.B. (Hons.) from a reputed law school is a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Detail-oriented with excellent quality-control skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with onsite and virtual global teams.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and related applications.
