• Oversee installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical equipment to meet quality standards.
• Ensure compliance with electrical codes, standards, and safety regulations; perform site inspections and risk assessments.
• Provide technical guidance and solutions throughout the project lifecycle.
• Participate in project meetings and communicate updates and concerns to stakeholders.
• Prepare and review project documentation including drawings and reports.

Job Purpose:

Associate Lead - Projects Electrical supports planning and execution of electrical projects in data centres. Responsibilities include supervising teams, integrating systems with cross-functional teams, and ensuring equipment installation, testing, and compliance with codes and regulations.

Educational Qualification:

Bachelor or Master degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.

Work Experience:

6-10 years years of experience in data centre or large-scale construction projects.

Project Support:

Assist with planning and coordinating electrical projects, ensuring alignment with overall project goals. Facilitate effective execution and delivery of electrical systems.

Team Supervision:

Supervise electrical teams to ensure efficient project delivery and adherence to schedules. Provide guidance and support to team members.

Collaboration:

Work with cross-functional teams to integrate electrical systems into broader project plans. Ensure smooth coordination and project alignment.

Execution:

Coordinate the installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical equipment. Ensure systems are operational and meet quality standards.

Compliance:

Ensure all work complies with electrical codes, standards, and safety regulations. Conduct regular checks to maintain regulatory adherence.

Site Inspections:

Perform site inspections to monitor project progress and identify potential issues. Address and resolve problems promptly.

Technical Guidance:

Provide technical knowhow & support to address and resolve project challenges in the area of specialization. Offer technical expertise and solutions throughout the project lifecycle.

Project Meetings:

Coordinate & participate in project meetings to contribute to decision-making and strategic planning. Communicate updates and concerns effectively.

Documentation:

Prepare and review project documentation, including technical drawings and reports. Ensure accuracy and completeness.

Stay informed about industry trends and technological advancements. Apply best practices to improve project execution.
