Job summary

Delhivery is seeking an on-role IT associate to deliver first-line technical support for end users, ensuring smooth operation of desktop and laptop systems, applications and peripherals. The role includes troubleshooting, system updates, inventory management and user training, with focus on quality service and supporting nearby remote facilities.

Job description

Being an on-role IT associate, you will provide first-line technical support to end-users, ensuring the smooth operation of desktop and laptop systems, applications and peripherals. The role includes troubleshooting, system updates, inventory management and user training, with a focus on delivering high-quality service to all users. Additionally, you will take care of nearby remote facilities.

Key Responsibilities

• User handling: Provide technical support to end-users, resolving hardware and software issues efficiently. Communicate with users in a professional manner & resolving their queries or issues or requirements in a shorter period of time which helps to avoid unwanted escalations and to maintain a healthy work environment.
• Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to desktops, laptops, printers, Document printers, Document scanners, Barcode printers, Barcode scanners, Biometric devices & HHDs.
• System Updates: Ensure all systems are updated with the latest patches, security updates, and antivirus software. So that users will not face unnecessary issues.
• User Training: Provide training and support to end-users on various software applications and IT best practices. So that issues can be reduced & users can work without interruption.
• Inventory Management & Audit: Maintain accurate records of hardware and software inventory. Conduct audit of IT assets according to the scheduled period & share the report with concerned stakeholders.
• Assets Management : Maintain the assets stock in the based facility without compromising with quality. Highlighting to the stakeholders in case of any gap observed. Performing preventive maintenance of IT assets to maintain the quality.
• Project involvement: Involving in ongoing projects & putting additional efforts to make the task easier for other team members. Regular follow ups with other stakeholders to complete the project on time.
• Documentation: Create and update technical documentation, including user guides and troubleshooting procedures. Which can help team members in troubleshooting of issues in a shorter period.
• Extended support: Visit to other facilities as per business requirement to support in fixing the ongoing issues & make ready the IT setup in new facilities for smooth execution.
• Collaboration: Work closely with other IT team members to support network, HHD, Biometric, Assets and server infrastructure for smooth closure of IT related issues or requirements. Follow up with OEMs regularly to fix the hardware related issues.
