Job summary

Grant Thornton is seeking a detail-oriented Global Mobility & Immigration Associate in Bengaluru to support U.S. and global immigration programs.

This role collaborates with employees, HR, Recruitment, legal counsel, and external vendors to manage case initiation, documentation, compliance, reporting, and mobility-related processes. The ideal candidate has 2–3 years of immigration/mobility experience, strong attention to detail, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Coordinate end-to-end immigration case initiation and support with external counsel.

• Serve as a point of contact for immigration inquiries from employees and HR.
• Track program activity, reporting, and vendor invoices.
• Ensure adherence to policies and data accuracy.

Role Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Global Mobility & Immigration Associate to support U.S. and global immigration programs (EMEA/APAC). This role will partner with employees, HR, Recruitment, legal counsel, and external vendors to manage immigration case initiation, documentation, compliance, reporting, and mobility-related processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate end-to-end immigration case initiation and support with external legal counsel.
• Gather and maintain immigration documentation and employee records.
• Monitor visa/work authorization expirations and support timely renewals and compliance activities.
• Serve as a key contact for immigration-related inquiries from employees, managers, HR, and recruiters.
• Support U.S. permanent residency processes, business visa requests, I-9 reverification, and LCA compliance.
• Track immigration program activity, reporting, vendor invoices, and process improvements.
• Ensure adherence to company policies, immigration protocols, and data accuracy standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree.
• 2-3 years of experience in U.S. and global immigration and/or global mobility programs.
• Knowledge of employment-based immigration processes, including temporary and permanent visas.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Experience in consulting, professional services, HR, mobility, or immigration support functions is preferred.
