Job summary

TIAA Global Capabilities in Mumbai is seeking a Specialist - Full Stack Development to design and implement end-to-end components across UI, business logic, data and integration layers, with a focus on secure AWS-based solutions for trading, risk, accounting and reporting.

You will collaborate with stakeholders to translate complex financial workflows into robust cloud architectures, applying SQL, Python, Java with Spring Boot, ETL tools and data integration, and maintain thorough documentation

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Specialist - Full Stack Development - IN
Full Stack Development are involved in full stack development and implement end-to-end components of custom applications. Their job involves designing and developing the UI, business logic, data & integration layer along with testing and maintenance of these layers.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

• The associate will need to design and manage scalable, secure AWS solutions including services such as EC2, S3, AWS Glue/ETL pipelines, CloudWatch for monitoring, and Lambda to support trading, risk, accounting, and reporting systems. Experience with DevOps tools, CI/CD pipelines, and Terraform is required.
• The associate will need to collaborate with stakeholders to translate complex financial workflows — such as trade lifecycle management, settlement, and reconciliation — into robust cloud architectures.
• The role involves having a deep understanding of accounting systems from both Front Office and Middle Office perspectives. Knowledge of any accounting platform is an added advantage.
• This role requires a strong skillset in SQL, PL/SQL, Python, and Shell scripting, along with experience with ETL tools and data integration. The candidate should also possess working knowledge of Java, including frameworks such as Spring Boot and JPA, to support backend service development and integration with financial systems.
• This role requires designing and maintaining data workflows, including data, pricing, and accounting feeds. The associate will be expected to integrate accounting systems with upstream and downstream systems using APIs, ETL tools, messaging frameworks Kafka, and Java-based microservices where applicable.
• The associate must ensure data accuracy, reconciliation, and compliance with financial reporting standards. Maintaining thorough documentation for system architecture, processes, and workflows is a core expectation of this role.
