Job summary

TIAA Global Capabilities is hiring an Associate Data Engineer to handle large-scale data processing, governance, and quality controls for the distribution platform. You will collect, parse, and analyze data to deliver reliable insights and enable informed decision-making across teams.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in data engineering, strong SI, CI/CD, and collaboration skills to maintain data ecosystems and drive scalable solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 2+ years of data engineering or related experience.
• Ability to collect, parse and analyze large datasets.
• Experience with data quality controls and data governance.

Responsibilities

• Collect data, perform large-scale processing, and deliver to users.
• Oversee data administration, governance, and CI workflows.
• Implement and monitor automated data controls.
• Identify syntax, structure, and semantics for each data source.
• Suggest improvements to data ecosystem and drive implementation.
• Manage cyclical production releases and maintain documentation; communicate data issues.

Data Engineering - Associate IN

Position Summary : Data Engineering Associates are critical members of the data supply chain for distribution platform. Implements large scale, complex data projects with a focus on collecting, parsing, managing, analyzing large sets of data to make the appropriate data accessible and available for use by variety of users. The associates will own the data quality control process.Impact : Customer data is used to ensure high quality customer servicing, efficient distribution management and critical inputs to strategic planning and performance measurement. Data accuracy and completeness are critical enablers to a high performing distribution platform that supports all elements of sales, service and support

Key Responsibilities and Duties

• Collects the data, does large scale processing and delivers to user community
• Data administration and planning - resolves systemic errors, monitors the data ecosystem, develops strategies to scale up, addresses continuous integration, supports data management and governance
• Implement and monitor automated data controls
• Identifies syntax, structure, and semantics for each data source
• Provides ideas to improve data ecosystem effectiveness and efficiency; participates in the implementation
• Manage cyclical production releases. Maintain accurate and up to date documentation on each solution. Communicate known data issues to stakeholders.
