Cognex, a global leader in machine vision, is seeking an Associate Freight Analyst to join its Cost Accounting team within the Global Operations organization.

Responsibilities

• Audit payment files twice weekly to ensure correct coding.
• Modify coding tables as required.
• Ensure carrier invoices are submitted in a timely manner.
• Review the portal for exceptions and rejections and ensure actioned timely.
• Monitor the invoicing mailbox and assist AP with carrier queries.
• Monitor hyper‑care reports to ensure timely processing.
• Cross‑reference the freight auditing tool’s close report with posted payment files to ensure all files have been actioned at month end.
• Check carrier statements to capture all costs at month end.
• Assist the Principle Analyst with month‑end accrual and reporting.
• Assist the Principle Analyst with the forecasting/budgeting process.
