Flextronics - The Flex Company in Chennai seeks an Associate Financial Analyst – Cost Accounting to support P&L reviews, variance analysis, and month-end close. The role requires 2–4 years in related finance roles and commerce/economics degrees. CPA/CMA/CA/CGA preferred. Proficiency in MS Office and strong accounting knowledge are essential.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to forecast budgets, reconcile accounts, and improve operational metrics in a manufacturing environment.

Formación

• Typically requires a B.Com / B.CS / M.Com / MBA / BBA/ BBM or equivalent commerce degree.
• Typically requires 2-4 years of related experience.
• Professional certifications such as CPA, CMA, CA or CGA are preferred.
• Good knowledge of Finance and accounting concepts; strong MS Office skills.

If you are excited about a role but don't meet every bullet point, we encourage you to apply and join us to create the extraordinary.## Job SummaryTo support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a in **Associate Financial** **Analyst – Cost Accounting Solutions in** **Chennai.** **What a typical day looks like:*** Perform periodic review of Profit and Loss (P&L) account to ensure that all the postings are done as per the defined Policy, Process and Procedures.* Compare the Actual with Forecast / Quote and ensure that the variances are properly. researched and required adjustment postings are done in the books.* Collect the business reasons for the remaining variances and report appropriately.* Reconcile all the scoped Balance sheet accounts with sub ledger/manual schedule to identify the variance, if any and ensure that those variances are properly dealt in the books of accounts.* Review the accounts on periodic basis to identify any potential risk and ensure that the same is mitigated properly.* Ensure that all the book close related /reporting activities are properly planned and executed on timely basis with utmost accuracy.* Work with relevant teams to prepare the Forecast / Budget for the related accounts.* Work along with Operations team to improve the business / operational metrics.* Be familiar with relevant Accounting, regulatory and reporting requirements in the Controllers Handbook and RCTS.* Good knowledge of Finance and accounting Concepts* Good written & oral communication skills.* Proficiency in MS Office.* Should be flexible to work in shifts and support Month end per business needs.* Analytical and Problem-solving skills.**The experience we’re looking to add to our team:*** Typically requires a B.
