Job summary

Maersk Line Limited in Pune seeks an experienced finance professional to manage Record-to-Report activities, including month-end close, journal entries, and balance sheet movements. The role requires IFRS knowledge and strong GL management.

The ideal candidate has 8–12 years in R2R/ATR, with MBA Finance or CA/CMA Inter, and experience in shared services or global finance operations. Shift timing is North America region; additional hours may be required.

Qualifications

• 8–12 years of experience in Record-to-Report / ATR roles.
• MBA Finance or CA/CMA Inter with relevant certification.
• Experience in shared services / global finance operations.

Responsibilities

• Ensure timely month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close.
• Review and record journal entries, accruals, provisions.
• Validate financial statements and key balance sheet movements.
• Ensure IFRS compliance.
• Manage Non-SAP / legacy entity postings.
• Strong knowledge of financial accounting and reporting.
• Expertise in Balance Sheet Reconciliation and GL management.

Job description

• Ensure timely and accurate month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close
• Review and record journal entries, accruals, provisions
• Validate financial statements and key balance sheet movements
• Ensure compliance with IFRS standards
• Manage Non-SAP / legacy entity postings
• Strong knowledge of financial accounting and reporting
• Expertise in Balance Sheet Reconciliation and GL management
• Familiarity with SAP/CargoWise, or similar tools, TrueBalance
• Understanding of Internal Controls, and audit requirements
• Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Experience in shared services / global finance operations
• Experience in transition, migration, or transformation projects within finance operations is highly desirable

Shift Timing: North America region (4:00 PM – 1:00 AM IST) additional hours may be required during critical close periods.
