Purpose of the Role

The role is responsible for supporting day-to-day accounting operations by executing standardized financial and administrative processes accurately and efficiently, while ensuring compliance with established accounting principles, policies, and procedures.

You will be Responsible for:

Overseeing day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring financial transactions are processed accurately and in compliance with applicable regulations, accounting principles, and established standards.

Managing accounting activities related to accounts payable, accounts receivable, billing, invoicing, cost accounting, and budget accounting, as applicable to the assigned area.

Allocating and analyzing direct and indirect costs and supporting actual-versus-budgeted cost variance analysis.

Supporting the development and monitoring of annual revenue and expense budgets to help control funds and measure operating performance.

Performing skilled technical, administrative, and operational tasks to support accounting and business operations.

Executing specialized activities within defined processes, standards, and established operating procedures.

Working independently on tasks of limited scope and complexity while exercising judgment within defined boundaries and guidelines.

Applying standardized work routines, methods, facts, and information to complete assigned responsibilities accurately and efficiently.

Identifying and resolving routine issues independently while escalating non-routine or complex problems to experienced colleagues or supervisors.

Applying job-related training and on-the-job experience to execute accounting and administrative activities effectively.

Supporting operational teams through accurate, timely, and efficient execution of assigned accounting and administrative tasks.

Adapting to established processes and procedures while making appropriate departures from standard processes, where required, to resolve operational issues.
