Job summary

SCIEX, a Danaher company, seeks a Field Service Engineer to join the Western Service Team based in Goa and working remotely. You will report to the Service Manager in Mumbai and travel as required to install, service, and repair mass spectrometry instruments, ensuring high-quality support for customers.

Role requires a Bachelor’s in engineering, 3+ years in GC/HPLC/Mass Spec, and fluent English. Travel and remote work within India are expected; training will be provided.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in engineering
• 3+ years in GC, HPLC, Mass spectrometry
• Knowledge of analytical instrumentation in service (mass spectrometry)
• English writing and speaking
• Experience with chromatography or mass spectrometry is a plus

Responsibilities

• Install, repair and maintain mass spec instruments and handle escalation calls.
• Complete assigned training tasks on products and responsibilities.
• Be customer-centric in handling high-quality service and communications.

Role Overview

Field Service Engineer will be the part of the Western Service Team located in Goa and will report to the Service Manager, Mumbai and and will be fully remote.

Responsibilities

• Completing and successfully passing assigned training tasks on assigned products and responsibilities.
• Perform high quality installation, repair and maintenance on mass spec instruments and handling escalation call.
• Handles critical calls and Being customer centric.

Qualifications

• Candidate should have Bachelor Degree of engineering.
• Minimum 3+ years of experience in instruments like GC, HPLC, Mass spectrometer.
• In-depth understanding of analytical instrumentation in Service, specific to mass spectrometry and experience related to Mass Spec and HPLC.
• Must have knowledge of computer handling, MS office.
• Need fluency in English (Writing / Verbal)
• It would be a added advantage if you also possess previous experience in: Chromatography, Mass spectrometer.

Physical Requirements

• Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements: Ability to travel – Ability and willingness to travel, overnight /outstation calls with short notice, if require.
• Ability to lift, move or carry equipment up to any other physical requirements.
