Job summary

Vertiv in Pune, India, is seeking a Packaging Associate Engineer to design, develop, validate, and optimize packaging solutions that protect products, reduce costs, and meet regulatory requirements. You will collaborate with design engineering, manufacturing, quality, service, marketing, procurement, logistics, and suppliers to prepare specifications, drawings, BOMs, and instructions, and to resolve packaging issues while pursuing sustainability.

Experience with MCAD and SAP/PLM is desirable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Packaging Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• 1-2 years of experience in mechanical design using MCAD tools.
• 1 year of experience in packaging or manufacturing engineering is desired.
• Working knowledge of documentation practices.

• 1-2 years of experience in mechanical design using MCAD tools
• 1 year of experience in packaging or manufacturing engineering is desired
• Working knowledge of documentation practices.
• Strong problem‑solving and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with sustainability initiatives or material reduction.
• Familiarity with SAP/PLM systems and change management.
