Job summary

Vertiv Energy is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer to develop, maintain, and extend electrical design libraries for Creo Schematic. You will support global design teams, ensuring timely delivery of projects and working with senior members to complete assignments.

The role requires hands-on Creo Cabling experience, knowledge of Creo Parametric, and the ability to work independently while maintaining quality and schedule adherence. Strong English communication is essential.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 1–3 years of experience in electrical system design.
• Proficiency with Creo wiring harness & Cabling tool.
• Knowledge of electrical system design and wiring harness creation using Creo Cabling.
• Familiar with artifact types in Creo Schematics (draft groups, groups, blocks, ports).
• Experience developing and maintaining component libraries for Creo Schematic.
• Ability to create datasets and member maps.
• Good knowledge of wire sizing and selection.
• Experience exporting files from Creo Schematic to Creo Parametric.
• Experience with Creo Mechanical CAD tools.
• Experience in Value Engineering / Value Analysis.
• Self-motivated with ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Good interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team.
• Effective communication in written and spoken English.
• Willingness to learn.

Job Description:

To develop, maintain, and extend electrical design libraries in support of Vertivs global product design businesses. He / She will take responsibility for the electrical parts library for the Creo Schematic tool, which will be used to support electrical system design and wiring harness creation for a broad portfolio of Power and Thermal products. He/ She will be responsible for providing timely support for global design teams as needed to meet their project deadlines. He / She will be expected to work in coordination with Senior team members to deliver the Assigned projects or task as needed. He / She must also be able to work independently to develop and maintain library content. Being part of Global Engineering Function, he / she is expected to maintain desired quality & schedule adherence defined by organization and report as per defined communication plan.

Job Specifications:

• Diploma/bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 1-3 years of experience in electrical system design is required.
• Demonstrated proficiency with the Creo wiring harness & Cabling tool is must.
• Must have knowledge of electrical system design and wiring harness creation using Creo Cabling.
• Must be familiar with the implementation of the artifact types used in the symbols, such as draft groups, groups, blocks, and ports in Creo Schematics.
• Experience in developing and maintaining component libraries for Creo Schematic is preferred.
• Ability to create and apply datasets, member maps and datasets within member maps.
• Good Knowledge of electrical design concepts, including wire sizing and selection considerations, is required.
• Experience with exporting files from Creo Schematic to Creo Parametric is required.
• Experience using Creo Mechanical CAD tools is highly preferable.
• Experience in Value Engineering and Value Analysis projects is added advantage.
• Self-motivated, capable of working with minimal supervision and timely manner.
• Execute the Projects with Minimal support from Senior team members.
