Job summary

Futurehook Private Limited in Bengaluru seeks a fresher/junior Electrical CAD Designer with strong AutoCAD skills and knowledge of electrical drawings to join the design and project support team. You will work on home automation, home theatre and AV projects, preparing drawings, BOMs, quotations and coordinating with engineering and procurement teams to meet project needs.

Freshers are welcome; diploma/BE/BTech in Electrical/EEE preferred; AutoCAD certification and experience in home automation

Qualifications

• Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and modify electrical drawings using AutoCAD.
• Develop electrical layouts, wiring diagrams, cable schedules and related technical drawings.
• Understand electrical symbols, circuits, wiring and basic electrical design concepts.
• Support design requirements for Home Automation, Home Theatre and AV projects.
• Prepare and update Bill of Materials (BOM) based on project requirements.
• Assist in preparing quotations and material requirements.
• Coordinate with the Engineering, Project, Procurement and Business Development teams regarding drawings and technical requirements.
• Understand client/project requirements and incorporate necessary changes into drawings.
• Coordinate internally to clarify design requirements, revisions and project specifications.
• Maintain proper documentation of drawings, BOMs and project-related technical information.
• Support the team in preparing drawings and documentation required for project execution.
• Make revisions to drawings based on site requirements and feedback from internal teams.
• Ensure drawings are accurate and follow company standards.

Requirements

• Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD Mandatory
• Valid AutoCAD certification Mandatory
• Basic knowledge ofElectrical Design / Electrical Drawings

• Good knowledge of MS Office / Excel.
• Good attention to detail and documentation skills.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to understand technical requirements and convert them into drawings.
