Responsibilities

• Analyse business requirements and design Workday Finance solutions.
• Configure and support Finance modules within Workday.
• Lead workshops, gather requirements and perform fit-gap analysis.
• Prepare FDDs and BRDs and create process flow diagrams.
• Collaborate with technical teams on integrations and reports.
• Conduct system testing, UAT, and support deployment.
• Provide end-user training and documentation.
• Support data migration, validation and cutover activities.

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Workday Finance Functional Consultant with 3–10 years of experience in implementing, configuring, and supporting Workday Finance solutions. The ideal candidate should possess strong functional knowledge of Finance processes and be capable of translating business requirements into effective system solutions.

• Analyse business requirements and design solutions using Workday Finance


• Configure and support Finance modules


• Conduct business process workshops, requirement gathering sessions, and fit-gap analysis.


• Prepare Functional Design Documents (FDDs), Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), and process flow diagrams.


• Collaborate with technical consultants to develop and validate customizations, integrations, and reports.


• Perform system testing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and support deployment activities.


• Provide end-user training and create user manuals and solution documentation.


• Support data migration, data validation, and cutover activities.


• Troubleshoot functional issues and provide post-go-live support.


• Work closely with cross-functional teams including Finance, Manufacturing, and Technical teams.


• Hands‑on experience across end‑to‑end Workday Finance implementation lifecycle, including design, configuration, testing, deployment, and post‑go‑live support.


• 11 years and above of experience working with Workday Finance


• Good understanding of business processes and industry best practices.


• Experience in requirement gathering, solution design, and documentation.


• Ability to conduct workshops and interact with business stakeholders.


• Understanding of integrations with third‑party applications.


• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.


• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.


• Experience working in Agile or Scrum project environments.


• Workday certifications will be an added advantage.
