Job summary

Growth For Impact is seeking a sustainability consultant to build client relationships, deliver advisory services, and support strategy implementation journeys. You will help clients translate sustainability strategy into actionable plans and engage with internal teams, property managers and contractors.

The role involves research on non-technical sustainability topics, development of processes, targets and progress actions, and contributing to service-line enhancements to meet client demand.

Qualifications

• Understanding of climate risk strategy, climate science, GHG emissions, and sustainability regulations.
• Familiarity with external reporting, sustainability KPIs, and benchmarking applications.

Responsibilities

• Build strong relationships with client teams and deliver accurate, timely advice and deliverables.
• Support business development to grow client consulting services and cross-sell JLL services.
• Aid in developing client strategy implementation journeys and bring strategy to life through engagement.
• Provide recommendations and action plans to implement sustainability management with client teams.
• Manage delivery of diverse client tasks and ensure professional relationships and reporting services.
• Conduct research and analysis on sustainability topics and prepare briefing notes.
• Support clients in developing processes, targets, guidelines and progress actions via regular meetings.
• Contribute to process and service line enhancements to meet client demand and upskill teams.
• Assist colleagues in developing and enhancing service offerings for clients.

Job description

ROLE

• Build strong working relationships with client teams through the provision of accurate and timely advice and deliverables
• Participate in business development activities to grow client consulting services, support cross-sell of JLL services and contribute to achieving challenging but realistic business growth targets
• Support the development of client strategy implementation journeys and bring the strategy to life through engagement
• Provide recommendations and action plans to bring sustainability management plans to life through engagement with the client’s internal teams, their property managers and contractors
• Manage the delivery of a range of client tasks, ensure a professional relationship and the effective delivery of sustainability reporting services
• Carry out research and analysis and create briefing notes on a range of non-technical subjects, sustainability topics
• Provide support to clients in developing processes, targets, guidelines and progress actions through scheduling and leading regular progress meetings to track and promote project progress and liaison
• Participate in process and service line enhancement and development activities to embrace best practice, client demand and support upskilling of internal and external teams
• Provide support to colleagues in the development, shaping and enhancement of service offering for clients

REQUIREMENTS

• Basic level of understanding of climate risk strategy, climate science, GHG emissions, sustainability regulations, external reporting, sustainability KPI’s, commercial and business driven sustainability, sustainable finance, sustainability by asset class, benchmarking applications, technology solutions basics, building systems knowledge
• Business development, sales, performance management, client management, strategy, presentation, communication, reporting skills
• Active listening, building trust, client orientation, commercial awareness, creativity and innovation, prioritisation, relationships and networks, solution development, teamwork and collaboration, technology adoption skills
