Job summary

HITACHI VANTARA INDIA PRIVATE LIMITED is seeking an Associate Director - Statutory Audit with 12-18 years of experience to lead statutory audit engagements for large and mid-sized clients across the BFSI sector. The role requires deep knowledge of Companies Act, RBI norms, Ind AS, and auditing standards.

You will manage client relationships, mentor audit teams, coordinate with partners, and contribute to business development initiatives while ensuring timely delivery and high-quality audit

Qualifications

• CA with 12–18 years of experience in statutory audits.
• Exposure to NBFC/BFSI statutory audits is preferred.
• Experience leading audit engagements and teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage statutory audit engagements for large and mid-sized clients.
• Oversee audit planning, execution, review, and timely completion of assignments.
• Handle audits of NBFCs and other financial services entities, where applicable.
• Review financial statements and ensure compliance with applicable Companies Act, RBI, Ind AS, and auditing standards.
• Manage senior client relationships and act as the key point of contact for management.
• Guide and mentor audit teams, including Managers and Senior Managers.
• Review audit findings, identify key risks, and ensure appropriate resolution.
• Support business development, proposals, and client acquisition initiatives.
• Coordinate with Partners and internal teams on complex audit matters.
