Job summary

Novartis India seeks an Associate Director to lead the APD AI Platform and GenAI delivery programs in Hyderabad. You will drive enterprise-scale AI initiatives, align with senior leaders, and ensure strategic adoption across business units.

You will partner with data science, engineering, cloud, and operations teams, oversee governance, security, and risk, and mentor diverse teams to deliver measurable value in healthcare innovation.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in technology solution delivery.
• Experience delivering AI/GenAI and enterprise platforms.
• Proven program and stakeholder management.
• Experience with Azure, Jira and Azure DevOps.
• Knowledge of enterprise governance and compliance.
• Strong cross-functional leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of enterprise AI and Generative AI solutions from strategy through adoption.
• Drive release planning, deployment, stabilization, and continuous improvement of AI products and platforms.
• Partner with business stakeholders to prioritize high-value AI use cases and delivery roadmaps.
• Define clear functional and non-functional requirements aligned to business objectives and outcomes.
• Ensure data readiness, governance, quality, accessibility, and operational scalability for AI solutions.
• Collaborate with data science, engineering, cloud, and operations teams to optimize model performance.
• Establish responsible AI practices, security controls, compliance standards, and risk management processes.
• Manage program budgets, resource allocation, forecasting, and vendor relationships across initiatives.
• Provide executive-level communication, status updates, risk management, and stakeholder engagement.
• Mentor cross-functional teams and foster excellence in AI solution delivery and operational execution.
