Job summary

Simplilearn is seeking an senior analytics leader to own the analytics roadmap and partner with leadership to shape the team's priorities. You will design cross-functional solutions, mentor a 6-8 person analytics team, and drive data-driven decisions across marketing and product initiatives.

You will work with web analytics, perform data wrangling in SQL/Python, and build dashboards in Tableau to track key business KPIs. This role emphasizes problem framing and scalable analytics impact.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree from a tier-1 institute.
• 7+ years in analytics with leadership experience.
• Hands-on SQL and Python for data wrangling.
• Experience building dashboards in Tableau or a similar BI tool.
• Strong understanding of CRO and campaign measurement.

Responsibilities

• Own the analytics roadmap and priorities for the organisation, partnering with leadership to decide what the team should be solving for next.
• Design solutions and program-manage cross-functional projects and frameworks, alongside quick-turnaround requests.
• Spot data gaps early, flag the risk, and drive the fix with the right teams so projects don’t stall.
• Act as a thought partner to business teams – helping frame problems, not just deliver answers – and grow how analytics is used across the organisation.
• Manage and mentor a team of 6-8 analysts, building their data, business and technical skills so they can operate independently.
• Give regular 1:1 feedback and coaching, and keep pushing the team toward new approaches and self-development.

Our analytics team is a group of driven problem-solvers who use structured problem-solving along with statistical, machine learning and operations research techniques to build solutions the business can actually use.

The team also owns the KPIs and dashboards that stakeholders across the organisation rely on to track performance.

We’re looking for someone to own the analytics charter end-to-end – setting the roadmap and priorities for how analytics serves the business, partnering closely with stakeholders to solve problems, and building a team that can operate independently.

What You’ll Do

We’d Like You to Have

• Master’s (preferred) or Bachelor’s degree from a tier-1 institute
• 7+ years in analytics (marketing or product analytics preferred) at a fast-paced organisation, including experience leading a team
• Working knowledge of web analytics platforms (e.g. Google Analytics, clickstream data) and how web tracking is implemented
• Understanding of CRO, performance marketing and campaign effectiveness measurement
• Hands-on SQL and Python for data wrangling
• Experience building dashboards in Tableau or a similar BI tool
• Strong understanding of statistics with experience in feature engineering and data modelling
