Job summary

Knack RCM is seeking an Associate Director DME Billing to lead large-scale DME Revenue Cycle Management operations across multiple client portfolios in India. The role requires strategic and operational leadership, with responsibility for end-to-end DME Billing across accounts and a workforce of 150-300+ FTEs.

You will drive productivity, quality, collections, and profitability, while ensuring SLAs, KPIs, and client commitments are met.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in US Healthcare Revenue Cycle Management.
• Minimum 5-8 years of leadership experience managing large DME Billing operations.
• Proven experience managing multiple clients and large operational teams.
• Strong expertise in operational governance, financial management, and client delivery.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end DME Billing operations across multiple accounts and business units.
• Manage large-scale operations comprising 150-300+ FTEs.
• Drive productivity, quality, collection, and profitability improvements.
• Ensure achievement of all contractual SLAs, KPIs, and business commitments.
• Develop and execute operational strategies for business growth and scalability.

Job Description Location: Jaipur / Mohali Department: Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) DME Billing Experience: 15+ Years Position Summary We are seeking a strategic and results-oriented Associate Director DME Billing to lead large-scale DME Revenue Cycle Management operations across multiple client portfolios.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic & Operational Leadership

Lead end-to-end DME Billing operations across multiple accounts and business units. Manage large-scale operations comprising 150300+ FTEs. Establish operational goals aligned with organizational objectives. Drive productivity, quality, collection, and profitability improvements. Ensure achievement of all contractual SLAs, KPIs, and business commitments. Develop and execute operational strategies for business growth and scalability.

Client Relationship Management

Act as the primary escalation point for key client accounts. Build and maintain solid executive-level client relationships. Conduct Monthly, Quarterly, and Annual Business Reviews. Identify opportunities for business expansion and account growth. Partner with clients to improve revenue cycle outcomes and operational efficiency. Drive client satisfaction and retention initiatives.

Financial & Business Management

Own operational budgets, revenue performance, and cost management. Drive margin improvement and operational efficiencies. Monitor financial metrics and ensure delivery against business plans. Support forecasting, capacity planning, and workforce optimization. Participate in annual operating plans and strategic business reviews.

Revenue Cycle Leadership

Provide strategic oversight of:

• DME Billing Accounts Receivable Management
• Denial Management Appeals & Reconsiderations
• Payment Posting Eligibility Verification Prior Authorization Medicare & Medicaid Billing Commercial Insurance Billing Drive collection performance and reduction in AR aging. Improve first-pass claim rates and reimbursement outcomes. Ensure compliance with HIPAA, Medicare, Medicaid, and payer-specific guidelines.

Organizational Leadership

Lead a team of Senior Managers, Managers, Assistant Managers, and Team Leads. Build leadership pipelines and succession plans. Drive talent retention and employee engagement initiatives. Develop leadership capabilities across the organization. Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Transformation & Process Excellence

Lead process transformation and automation initiatives. Drive Lean Six Sigma and Operational Excellence programs. Implement best practices and standard operating procedures. Evaluate emerging technologies and process improvement opportunities. Support business transitions, migrations, and client implementations.

Governance & Compliance

Ensure compliance with client requirements and regulatory standards. Implement robust operational governance and risk management frameworks. Monitor audit results and drive corrective actions. Ensure data security and HIPAA compliance across operations.

Educational Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in any discipline
• Preferred: MBA / PGDM / Healthcare Management
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt / Black Belt preferred
• Relevant Healthcare RCM Certifications will be an advantage
