Job summary

Dezy in Bengaluru (India) seeks a motivated dental professional to join our patient-first team. You will perform examinations, diagnose conditions, and develop treatment plans in collaboration with senior dentists, ensuring high-quality patient care in a fast-growing dental health tech company.

You will carry out procedures such as intraoral scans, cleanings, fillings, and assist in surgeries, while maintaining meticulous records and educating patients on oral health and post-treatment care.

Qualifications

• BDS from a recognized institution.
• Valid dental license to practice in India.
• Freshers or up to 1 year of clinical experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Empathy and patient-first approach.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Upload scan/files within the stated TAT and store in correct folder/drive.

Responsibilities

• Patient Care: Perform dental examinations, diagnose dental conditions, and develop treatment plans in collaboration with senior dentists.
• Treatment Procedures: Carry out simple dental procedures such as intraoral scans, cleanings, fillings, etc.
• Patient Education: Educate patients on oral health, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions to ensure optimal dental health.
• Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including treatment plans, progress notes, and medical histories.
• Collaboration: Work collaboratively with the Chief General Dentist and administrative staff to ensure seamless patient care.
• Continuing Education: Stay updated with latest developments in dentistry, such as aligners and implants, through ongoing education and training opportunities.
• Assistance in Surgeries: Assist senior doctors during dental procedures and surgeries.
• Relationship Management: Manage relationships with dental clinics and senior dentists in the region through outbound outreach and trade fairs.
• Logistics: Call and coordinate with patients on the day of scans to ensure timely arrival.

Key Responsibilities

• Patient Care: Perform dental examinations, diagnose dental conditions, and develop treatment plans in collaboration with senior dentists.
• Treatment Procedures: Carry out simple dental procedures such as intraoral scans, cleanings, fillings, etc.
• Patient Education: Educate patients on oral health, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions to ensure optimal dental health.
• Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including treatment plans, progress notes, and medical histories.
• Collaboration: Work collaboratively with the Chief General Dentist and administrative staff to ensure seamless patient care.
• Continuing Education: Stay updated with the latest developments in dentistry, such as aligners and implants, through continuous education and training opportunities.
• Assistance in Surgeries: Assist senior doctors during dental procedures and surgeries.
• Manage and enhance relationships with existing players / dental clinic chains / senior Dentists in the region through outbound reach and participation in trade fairs.
• Call and coordinate with the patients on the day of the home/partner clinic scan to reach the location on time.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) from a recognized institution.
• Valid dental license to practice in India.
• Freshers or up to 1 year of experience in a clinical setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Empathy and a patient-first approach.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Ensure all the home & partner clinic appointments are catered within the day within the mentioned TAT.
• Required to upload the scan files and intra/extra oral photos within the TAT, ensuring they are stored in the correct folder and drive.
