## Associate Data AnalystApplylocations: Mumbai, Indiatime type: Full timeposted on: Posted Yesterdayjob requisition id: R0011312The Data Analytics/Business Intelligence team is responsible for building and supporting GIA’s global data warehouse and building out dashboards for consumption across GIA digital domain. The team is a fundamental part of GIA’s effort to become a fully digitalized company. The team partners with various business units to enable the services required to deliver software, data and business intelligence services. The Associate Data Analytics function to assist the Data Analyst in the design, development, and support of GIA’s initiatives (e.g. Snowflake) & Power BI Business Intelligence Enterprise environment. The individual will support the team's data engineering and data analytics capabilities to ensure GIA’s data reporting and analysis capabilities are consumed to drive decision-making opportunities. They will be part of a global team of Business/Data Analysts, Data Scientists, and Application Developers.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES· Analyze operational data across GIA’s digital ecosystem to deliver insights, identify gaps in tracking, and make recommendations for optimization that will increase the user experience.· Create website performance dashboards for reporting to Leadership teams.· Monitor website traffic and draw conclusions on site availability and performance as it relates to the overall health and maintenance of site and scope the impact of business and website changes/forecast the impact of future changes.· Conduct ongoing support of existing solutions to ensure user experiences are maintained and optimized for use.· Define best practices to measure performance tracking metrics that support the operations of digital activities.· They will identify areas for improvement, communicate changes in performance to key stakeholders, and make actionable recommendations for site or experience improvements.· Automation of actions/notifications to the relative stakeholders based on key metrics and SLA’s.· Other duties as assigned.TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities)• Understanding how digital experiences, digital platforms, and underlying technologies are developed and built.• Ability to leverage AI tools to efficiently handle data processing, cleaning, and routine visualization.• Familiarity with processes, ceremonies, and best practices of iterative development processes, such as Agile Methodologies and Scrum.• Ability to define user stories from high-level features and facilitate them through design and development iterative processes.• Analytical skills, with the ability to identify insights to help drive business performance and shape strategy.• Understanding of how to build the right features through the lens of customer desirability, business viability, and technology feasibility.• Must be able to communicate effectively and tactfully with all levels of personnel (in person, on the telephone, and through written communication).• Demonstrates a courteous and respectful attitude to internal workforce and external customers.• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.• Provides accurate and timely written and verbal communication of information in a manner that is understood by all.• Able to listen, understand, problem-solve, and carry-out duties to ensure the optimal outcome.• Ability to deal effectively with a variety of personalities to establish and maintain effective working relationships.EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field or equivalent experience; background in technology, statistics, computer science, data science, or similar field.• 1-3 years of experience in digital analytics, web traffic operations, and monitoring• Experience with Agile development practices, such as Scrum and Extreme Programming**Disclaimer:** This job description indicates in general terms, the type and level of work performed as well as the typical responsibilities of employees in this classification and it may be changed by management at any time.
