Job summary

Neara is seeking a content lead to research devotional and mythology space, and to create and translate content for marketing collaterals in English and Hindi. You will manage editorial calendars, commission articles, and ensure on-time delivery while upholding voice and SEO-friendly quality.

Ideal candidates have strong English/Hindi writing, experience building scalable editorial processes, and a passion for devotional content. Bengaluru office-based role with a collaborative team.

Responsibilities

• Create & translate content for marketing collaterals in English/Hindi.
• Research trends and keywords to create fresh devotional content for Indian and global users.
• Set up content quality benchmarks and manage publishing quality.
• Develop monthly/seasonal editorial calendars with the editorial team.
• Coordinate commissioning of articles from writers and ensure on-time delivery.
• Edit and rewrite articles to maintain voice, cohesiveness and freshness.
• Ensure SEO-friendly published content across platforms.
• Oversee artwork, design, and photography for web content.

Responsibilities

• Ability to research devotional and mythology space to create in-depth rich content
• Create & Translate content for various marketing collaterals/channels like eBook, infographic, Quiz in English/Hindi
• Researching relevant trends, hot and trending keywords, gaps in content online, to create fresh content for Devotional space for Indian and Global users.
• Setting up content quality benchmarks and managing the quality of content being published.
• Creating a monthly and seasonal editorial calendar with the editorial team
• Commissioning articles from the writing team (both freelance and in-house) and ensuring on-time delivery.
• Evaluate and approve the submitted articles for cohesiveness and maintaining the voice and freshness of the content.
• Editing and rewriting articles, some of which may be rejected or returned to the writer for revision.
• Editing and rewriting descriptions, website content, marketing communications, etc.
• Ensuring all published content is of top-notch quality and reader-friendly
• Ensuring all published content is SEO friendly.
• Ability to collaborate with multiple teams and deliver efficient resul
• Overseeing artwork, design, and photography for web content

Requirements

• Excellent English/Hindi Writing Skills with the ability to research, structure, and deliver grammatically error-free content.
