The role focuses on improving reliability, scalability, and quality across the AI/ML lifecycle, with emphasis on patient safety and process enhancements. On-site work in Hyderabad is expected.

Qualifications

• B-Tech/BE in Computer Science, Electronics, or related field with 5+ years of experience in Clinical Data/Image Annotation.
• Experience with clinical data/image annotation workflows and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Partner with engineering, product management, and quality teams to align on medical image annotation needs and quality goals.
• Implement frameworks for reliability, scalability, and maintainability across AI/ML model development lifecycle.
• Oversee integration and execution of annotation workflows to enhance efficiency and system reliability.
• Lead evaluation and optimization of annotation tools and development processes for code analysis and automation.
• Ensure annotation output meets regulatory requirements and patient safety standards.
• Promote reuse of software components and frameworks across teams.
• Analyze performance data and drive continuous improvement in annotation quality and user experience.
• Regularly update stakeholders on progress and provide recommendations.

Job description

• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with engineering, product management, and quality teams to assess project progress and ensure alignment with medical image annotation needs, quality goals, and standards.
• Implement and evaluate frameworks to ensure reliability, scalability, and maintainability across the AI/ML model development lifecycle.
• Oversee the integration and execution of annotation workflows, and improving processes to enhance efficiency and system reliability.
• Develop, Optimizing Tools & Processes: Lead the evaluation and optimization of annotation tools and development processes, ensuring teams use the most effective solutions for code analysis, automation, and collaboration.
• Regulatory Compliance & Patient Safety: Ensure annotation output meets regulatory requirements and patient safety standards and Quality Improvement Plans.
• Leveraging Reusable Solutions: Promote the reuse of software components and frameworks across teams, enhancing efficiency and consistency while reducing development time.
• Continuous Improvement: Analyze performance data to identify areas for improvement, leading initiatives to enhance data annotation quality, safety, and user experience. Implement process improvements through regular assessments and industry benchmarking.
• Stakeholder Communication: Regularly update stakeholders on progress, annotation jobs, and quality, providing strategic recommendations for process improvements and alignment with business objectives.

Must Have

• B-Tech/BE in Computer Science, Electronics, or related field with 5+ years of experience in Clinical Data/Image Annotation

Required Skills

Biomedical Signal Interpretation

• Ability to review waveform visualizations and identify signal patterns.
• Comfortable working with time-series physiological data rather than traditional medical images.

Annotation Guideline Adherence

• Ability to consistently follow project-specific instructions, heuristics, and annotation guidelines.
• Strong attention to detail and annotation quality.

Quality Review & Validation

• Ability to document uncertainty and edge cases.
• Experience participating in adjudication and quality review processes.
• Comfortable using custom annotation and visualization tools.
• Ability to navigate software applications and accurately record classifications.
