Intellectual Capital HR Consulting Pvt. Ltd. in India is seeking an Associate/Analyst to conduct company research and portfolio management for a venture capital fund.

You will perform industry and company research, diligence on startups raising capital, and support deal execution. The role requires hands-on research, strong on-ground capabilities, excellent communication, and proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of venture capital experience.
• Hands-on multi-tasker, self-directed.
• Excellent oral and written communication is mandatory.
• PowerPoint and Excel expertise required.
• Absolute discretion with confidential matters.

Responsibilities

• Industry and primary company research across the portfolio and coverage universe.
• Business and financial research and diligence on startups raising capital, including in-depth analysis of industry and competition, and preparation of detailed research notes.
• In-depth industry research using global and domestic data, mapping the entire chain of participants.
• Primary research including channel checks, plant visits and company visits.
• Due diligence, engaging directly with founders and liaising with legal counsel through deal closure.
• Research on deals, trends and transactions in the early-stage startup ecosystem. Build a network of industry participants across coverage sectors and write update notes and reports.
• Build strong connect with portfolio company managements.
