Job summary

Raheja QBE General Insurance Company in India seeks an actuarial professional to support product filing, pricing, and annual reporting across general insurance lines.

You will collaborate with underwriting, finance and data teams to conduct analyses, ensure data integrity, and contribute to portfolio and product performance reviews. Fresh graduates with Bachelor’s degree and 2 actuarial exams cleared are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
• 2+ actuarial exams cleared.
• 2 years experience in the General Insurance Actuarial domain.

Responsibilities

• Filing of new products across all lines of business.
• Leading the product design, pricing and filing of retail and commercial insurance products.
• Annual valuation and statutory reporting.
• Portfolio and product performance analysis on a periodic basis.
• Understand requirements of various teams like underwriting, finance etc. and guide team to conduct required analyses.
• Perform basic data integrity checks by retrieving data and following established guidelines to minimize errors and support delivery of accurate information for sound actuarial analyses.

Preferred candidate profile

• Good business understanding of the Indian general insurance market

Preferred Knowledge
