Job summary

ANTS Digital is seeking an Associate Accountant in Gurgaon to join our finance team. The role involves managing day-to-day accounting functions, including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and reconciliations, with a focus on accuracy and compliance with Indian tax laws.

The ideal candidate has at least two years of accounting experience. You will work closely with auditors and tax consultants to ensure timely reporting and regulatory adherence, supporting budgeting and financial analysis as

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience in accounting or finance.
• Strong knowledge of Indian accounting standards and tax laws.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
• Prepare and review financial statements, reports, and other financial documents.
• Reconcile bank statements, invoices, and other financial data.
• Monitor and analyze financial performance, variances, and trends.
• Ensure compliance with local tax laws and regulations, including GST and TDS.
• Prepare and file periodic tax returns and reports.
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including auditors and tax consultants.
• Provide financial analysis and support for decision-making.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.

The ideal candidate will have 2 years of experience, and be familiar with preparing financial reports, bank reconciliations, accounts payable, accounts receivable, Tally, payroll and reconciling invoices. Moreover, the candidate must have strong interpersonal skills and possess a strong business acumen.
