Job summary

TransUnion is hiring a DevOps Engineer in Bengaluru. The role focuses on designing, provisioning, and maintaining cloud infrastructure with automation. You will automate builds, support cloud migrations, and ensure secure, high-performance systems while contributing to continuous improvement.

This is a hybrid role requiring presence in the office for part of the week. The ideal candidate has 1–3 years in DevOps/SRE with hands-on AWS or GCP experience, Linux proficiency, and strong scripting

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of SRE/DevOps in large-scale internet infrastructure.
• Direct cloud infra experience in AWS or GCP; cloud-based builds.
• Linux fundamentals and scripting (Python/JavaScript).
• CI/CD, monitoring/alerting, and incident management experience.
• Familiarity with SAFe/Agile and Jira/JSM in ITSM processes.

Responsibilities

• Design, provision, monitor, and maintain cloud infrastructure with automation.
• Automate infrastructure in cloud environments and CI/CD pipelines.
• Perform root-cause analyses and participate in on-call rotations.
• Drive improvements for production/non-production systems to maximize uptime and security.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to support migration to cloud and disaster recovery.

Responsible for automation of operational processes.
