Job summary

JLL is seeking an Assistant Vice President, Retail Services in Gurugram on-site. You will lead retail services initiatives in the North region, developing relationships with key stakeholders and driving growth for retail brands across malls, high-streets, and mixed-use assets.

The role requires 5-7 years in services with external client-facing experience, excellent English communication, and readiness to travel within NCR and North cities. Proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is essential.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Strengthen JLL's Retail Services business within the North region.
• Develop and maintain a strong network with promoters, entrepreneurs, and retail brand owners.
• Manage Landlord relationships and coordinate with the Supply team as needed.
• Support Consulting/Advisory teams on new projects and retail development planning.

What this job involves:

• Responsible for strengthening JLL's Retail services business ; within North region
• Excellent knowledge of Retail Real Estate landscape and especially from retail brands; across various retail assets : Malls, High-Streets, Mixed-Use
• Should possess a large network of key stakeholders within retail industry - promoters / entrepreneurs ; large business houses which own multiple retail brands under their umbrella
• Experience of working "directly" with such key stakeholders and their Business Development teams. Must have "direct" contacts with such owners and not just through the teams below
• Must have an in-depth knowledge of various retail formats; and their business models / profitability, in order to determine which retailers can be placed in which retail development
• Demonstrated experience of assisting retail brands in growing geographically across NCR and / or other regions in North
• Responsible for identifying quality Retail Real Estate Supply in the market and managing Landlord relationships, in coordination with the Supply team
• Responsible for maintaining key relationships - retail brand owners; Mall Owners, Mall Leasing Teams, High-street Landlords
• Assist the Consulting / Advisory teams on newer projects and help zone retail developments from an ideal retail mix perspective.

• Work Experience : 5-7 years + (services industry). Must have worked in an external client-facing role
• Strong Communication Skills - Verbal as well as written. Proficiency and fluency of English Language is a must.
• Should be open to travel (work dependent) within NCR and rest of the North cities;
• Thorough working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
