Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Lead and Manage Underwriting Team: Supervise and mentor a team of underwriters, ensuring adherence to company guidelines, market standards, and best practices.
• Underwrite Complex Risks: Oversee and approve underwriting of complex Property and Engineering risks, providing technical guidance and decision‑making support.
• Risk Assessment & Pricing Strategy: Conduct and review technical risk assessments, pricing models, and coverage analysis to ensure profitability and compliance.
• Techno-Marketing Leadership: Drive techno-marketing initiatives by presenting advanced technical solutions and value propositions to clients, brokers, and intermediaries.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with brokers, agents, and internal sales teams to promote products and secure profitable business.
• Business Development Support: Provide strategic input for market intelligence, client relationship management, and growth opportunities.
• Governance & Compliance: Ensure all underwriting activities comply with internal controls, regulatory frameworks, and audit requirements.
• Performance Monitoring: Set team goals, monitor performance metrics, and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
