Job summary

WSP India is seeking a skilled Transport Modeller to join our team in Mumbai, delivering strategic modelling using Saturn/VISUM and supporting tools like GIS, Excel VBA, and Python. You will work on UK transport planning guidelines, coordinate with senior engineers, and help ensure on-time, on-budget project delivery.

The role emphasizes collaboration, commercial acumen, and technical delivery, with hybrid work options and a focus on sustainability and effective resource planning.

Qualifications

• Understanding fundamental modelling techniques, traffic management techniques and Transport for London, Highways England and Local Authority design and modelling guidance.
• Experience and capability in programming, VBA.
• Paper presented at / published in recognised national / internal journal(s)/ conference(s) desirable.

Responsibilities

• Identify and manage technical project risk with line manager.
• Support sustainability initiatives.

• In conjunction with line manager identify, assess and manage technical project risk.


• Support the company’s approach to sustainability.


• Attend and contribute in team and project meetings.


• Complete accurate timesheets by set deadline.


• Feedback on all business development opportunities.
