Role & responsibilities

1. GST Compliance: Ensuring the organizations adherence to GST laws, rules, and regulations. This involves staying up-to-date with changes in GST laws and implementing necessary modifications to the companys systems and processes accordingly.
2. Filing GST Returns : Preparing and filing GST returns on time and accurately. These returns include GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, and annual return GSTR-9, among others. The GST Manager must ensure that all required documentation and data are in order to facilitate smooth and error-free filing.
3. GST Audit and Assessment: Handling GST audits and assessments conducted by tax authorities. The GST Manager may need to represent the organization during these audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations.
4. GST Record Keeping: Maintaining proper records of GST transactions, invoices, and other relevant documents to support GST filings and compliance.
5. GST Input Tax Credit (ITC) Management: Overseeing the proper utilization of input tax credit and ensuring compliance with input tax credit provisions.
6. Interaction with Consultant and Authorities: Liaising with GST authorities, responding to queries, and resolving any issues or disputes related to GST.
7. Process Improvement: Continuously reviewing and improving GST-related processes to ensure efficiency and accuracy.

Preferred candidate profile

1. Min 5 yrs experience in Tally ERP and in the multi state GST compliance.
